One Night of Queen – Plymouth Pavilions
THIS SHOW….WILL ROCK YOU ….GUARANTEED…
One Night of Queen returns to Plymouth Pavilions on Thursday 18 December 2008.
“The spirit of the legendary Freddie Mercury is alive and well and performing as Gary Mullen”
When Gary Mullen won ITV’s ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ Grand Final in 2000 as Freddie Mercury, he began a fantastic journey which has so far taken him to virtually every theatre and concert hall in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Holland, France and New Zealand.
In 2008 Gary will be performing an 8 week tour of the USA for the very first time as the concert continues to enthral fans worldwide.
His sell-out concerts are receiving rave reviews from audiences of all ages together with his band ‘The Works’.
They have appeared for the ‘BBC’s Proms in the Park’ in Hyde Park, London, alongside Andrea Bocelli, Simply Red, and G4.
The 40,000 strong audience joined Gary and the boys in rebel rousing renditions of ‘Radio Ga Ga’, ‘We Are the Champions’ ‘Somebody to Love’ and ‘It’s A Kind Of Magic’
Gary recreates the live Queen experience – the sound and the look, combined with the showmanship, style and incredible musicianship that was the hallmark of Queen in concert.
Press & Promotions Officer at Plymouth Pavilions, Robert Maltby said: “Gary Mullen takes the word ‘tribute’ to another level, I can honestly say you will be blown away at just how like for like Gary is in comparison to the great Freddy Mercury. Year on year the fan base grows and grows for this show, give it a go, I guarantee you’ll be back year on year”
