Hotels and Places to Stay in Basingstoke
Basingstoke has at its heart an historic market town. Since the 1970s it has expanded rapidly and is now a vibrant business community with major companies such as the AA, CORGI, Sunlife Financial of Canada, De La Rue and Wella UK based in the town.

Probably the best hotel in Basingstoke is the Apollo Hotel. It is truly luxurious and the standard of décor and service are excellent. It has 4 AA stars.

The building has recently been refurbished and the results are outstanding. The rooms are equipped with all the latest fittings for the ideal leisure or business stay. The TVs have movies and play station games, there is wireless internet access, modem point, 2 telephones, writing desk and mini-bar.

There is also the Horizons Health Club with an indoor swimming pool featuring a waterfall, a steam room, a sauna and a spa pool. There is a gym and an aerobics studio.

The hotel is a short drive from the centre of the town and within easy access of the M3 or routes to Reading or Newbury.
