Social and Activities Club for Meeting New People, Edinburgh, UK
The Sunday Brunch Club is a leading social and activities club which gives members the opportunity to meet new people in Edinburgh. The Club was started in January 2005 by Stephanie Taylor, a former parliamentary liaison manager, who realised the importance of meeting new people when she first moved to Edinburgh from England in 2000. Stephanie says:
Many people lead busy and hectic lifestyles in the city and they don't have time to organise fun new activities or to meet new people. The Sunday Brunch Club provides that service and lots more! With a fresh and funky approach the Sunday Brunch Club has brought a new dimension to socialising in Edinburgh."
The Brunch Club was born from a small dining group who would meet on a Sunday to enjoy good food and socialising. The club has proved so popular that over 500 subscribers now attend events in and around the capital.
Attracting an eclectic bunch of men and women from a range of professional backgrounds, the Sunday Brunch Club offers a variety of informal and fun events from champagne tasting and themed dinners to sporting activities such as paint-balling and rock climbing. This year sees the launch of regular 5-a-side football, squash and running groups.
The popularity of the club continues to grow with members enjoying the wide array of social events and activities. The Sunday Brunch Club is an excellent way for people who are moving to Edinburgh to meet new people, it also offers people a way of extending their already existing social circle by coming together and enjoying good food, wine or perhaps something a little more adventurous.
