Oxford is a thriving city in the Cotswolds with a wide range of different types of places to eat to meet the needs of students, locals and tourists.

St George Street is one of the main restaurant areas in Oxford. It is close to Cornmarket Street – a busy shopping area and home to The New Theatre (formerly The Apollo Theatre).

A popular place to eat in Oxford is the Caffe Uno restaurant is located at 41 – 47 George Street. It provides a relaxed and informal atmosphere with a range of Italian dishes including pasta, pizza and grills. Light crunchy salads are available.

For a fish and seafood restaurant, head out to Loch Fyne in Jericho – a short and pleasant stroll from George Street. If you enjoy fish and shellfish this is the restaurant for you.

Relaxing in one of the comfy couches over a refreshing drink before starting your meal can be the perfect start to an evening out.

The fish shop by the front door adds to the atmosphere and provides the opportunity to purchase fish and seafood to enjoy at home.

Next stop is Door 74 on Cowley Road. To get here you need to head out along the High Street towards Magdalen College and The Plain. When the road splits into three, take the middle option which is Cowley Road.
