Splashdown is the South's Ultimate Waterpark is right on the doorstep at Tower Park, Poole.
With over 1000 metres of the UK’s best water flume rides, Splashdown provides great value entertainment for all ages whatever the weather. There are eight year-round-rides, plus four extra outside rides to enjoy during the summer. For a real rush climb the infamous Screamer Tower (open May to October) - which launches no less than three wicked rides. Come face to face with Splashdown's very own Dragon, a unique flume ride experience with rip-roaring sound and lighting effects - Dare you enter the Lair? For the not so adventurous ride the Colorado Coaster, relax in the bubble spa, or drift along the Mississippi Drifter, but be warned that river can cut up rough!
Splashdown also caters for younger ones not yet ready to ride the flumes with Buccaneer Bay, a 1m deep indoor pool specially constructed for under 8's and their parents. Buccaneer Beach is an outdoor splash lagoon, open in high season, again primarily for under 8's and new adjacent play area, Buccaneer Landings. With café facilities and sun decks Splashdown has something for everyone to enjoy. Splashdown operates 2-hour session times during peak periods, though subject to operational conditions, all day tickets may be purchased for an additional charge, allowing visitors the freedom to return to Splashdown later the same day or if you are really keen to stay in all day!
Splashdown is situated just outside Poole on the newly revamped Tower Park entertainment complex, where there are a number of brand name family orientated restaurants, bowling, bingo and a multiplex cinema. Follow road signs to Poole from all approaches, then brown tourist signs to Tower Park.
