Description
The Hawk Conservancy is open to the public Monday through till Sunday from February 17 to October 28. During the winter season we are open on weekends from the 3 November to 16 February. Demonstrations will vary during the winter; please call the main office for further information. 01264 773850
There is much to do and see here at The Hawk Conservancy, Andover. Demonstrations are spread through out the day. Birds on display include Herons, Hawks, Falcons, Eagles, owls, kites, Secretary Birds and Vultures.
Demonstrations include Vulture feeds and Falconers. You are able to observe the birds, especially how they interact with each other. The world of Raptors features the birds of prey from around the world. The Valley of the Eagles is a 40 minute demonstration, displaying the flight of Eagles, Kites and Vultures through the sky.
Other features of the Conservancy include 15 acres of woodland gardens, Reg’s wild flower downland meadow, education centre, dragon fly pond, nature trails, raptor safaris and Duffy’s Coffee Shop where you can purchase snacks drinks and Ice-creams.
