Description
Hidden below Edinburgh’s Royal Mile are a warren of concealed ‘closes’ where real people lived worked and died. The Real Mary King’s Close is thought to be one of the most haunted places in Scotland.
There are a number of underground closes to explore. In the beginning they would have been narrow walkways with houses on either side, dating back several centuries.
Come and step back in time at our award winning five star attraction, where you are able to walk the underground closes and witness some of the dramatic episodes and extraordinary apparitions from the site’s historically rich past.
