Description
Come rain or shine, there’s plenty to do at Cattle Country. Best known for its indoor and outdoor play equipment, Cattle Country has a whole range of activities and many animals to see.
Two huge barns house giant slides and loads of soft play equipment. Outdoor activities include Britain’s biggest jumping pillow, trampolines, ride on mini tractors, a miniature train, a willow maze, a splash pool, mini golf and a boating lake to name just a few.
The mini train takes visitors through the park to the Animal Encounters area where children can get up close and personal to pigs, goats, ducks and other livestock.
A relaxing walk in the summer takes you past our herd of American bison, cattle and red deer. The walk skirts by a large pond and passes through a small wood with an agility course - so you can take as much exercise as you wish!
Tractor and trailer rides in the summer take you right up to our herd of Bison so you’ll be closer to these fascinating animals than ever before.
We also have indoor and outdoor adventure playground areas specifically for the under 6’s to provide a variety of activities for the younger adrenalin seekers.
Back at base a warm restaurant provides full on site catering and a gift shop offers a wide range of souvenirs for all ages and pockets.
New for 2008
Giant Climbing Net
Think you’ve got a head for heights? Then why not tackle our new 14 metre climbing net. Not for the faint hearted, this giant net gives a fantastic bird’s eye view of Cattle Country.
The Cattle Country Castle
Battle out an adventure in our new castle. With 5 towers, 3 bridges and a 40 metre zip wire you’ll have hours of fun in this young knight’s dream.
During term time the farm (with its herd of over fifty American bison and many wildlife habitats) is perfect for school visits sponsored by DEFRA. Younger children visit with playgroups, where the small animals and special play areas for toddlers are a hit.
Whenever the park is closed to the public, private parties can be booked for exclusive access to Cattle Country. A £30 season ticket gives unlimited access during opening times, making it an ideal children’s birthday present.
For full opening times and admission prices please visit our website - www.cattlecountry.co.uk or telephone 01453 810510.
